Steve Lott Farms Elevator purchased a decommissioned grain elevator in downtown Mason, Michigan with a plan to modernize the facility and return it to operation. However, the farm has outgrown the facility before renovation is complete and is exploring mutually beneficial opportunities to sell the property.
The facility has 3-phase electric, natural gas and Class A road. It has a 2,500 bushel overhead load-out bin, a 20,000 bushel dry storage bin and four 12,000 bushel concrete grain silos. The property is also adjacent to a railroad line -potential rail siding if desired.
Since purchasing the property, the facility has been thoroughly cleaned including the grain pits, structurally inspected, and many of the mechanicals removed in preparation for modernizing operations. A new overhead loadout bin and fans are in place and the facility is prepped for the remaining mechanicals to be installed. Possess clean title and recent appraisal. Conventional financing or land contract.
