Steve Lott Farms & Services Inc. became Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program (MAEAP) Verified in 2016 for Farmstead Systems and Cropland Systems. Being MAEAP verified is just one of the ways I am taking a proactive approach to guarantee my farming practices are both sustainable and environmentally-friendly.
MAEAP is a voluntary, pro-active program designed by a coalition of farmers, agricultural commodity groups, state and federal agencies, and conservation and environmental groups to reduce producers' legal and environmental risks.
